Let's face it there are Catholics, Protestants, Baptist, Jehovah witness, evangelical and the list goes on and on of all the different Christian beliefs out there. However, choosing the right one will become a little more difficult, especially if you choose to study Christianity, seriously.
When it comes to Christianity, there are plenty of organizations that you can choose from. If you want to worship on Saturday, because you work on Sunday for her maybe you believe that the Saturday is the Sabbath and Sunday is a made up day of worship by another Christian organization.
I would advise you to join the Seventh-day Adventist Christian organization. These people worship on the Sabbath and have a few different beliefs than modern mainstream Christianity. They also choose not to eat meat and therefore remain, vegetarians. This goes back to the origins of the book of Genesis.
What if you don't mind worshiping on Sundays, but you don't have any interest in learning about Christianity. You simply want to be a Christian, because it sounds good and maybe you have a few friends that go to church on a regular basis. I would suggest that you look for a nice evangelical church that will fulfill your needs.
The choices are endless, Christianity is one of the few religions that provides you with almost every opportunity to find a church that you can belong to that will meet your needs.
Just because you were raised as a Baptist, doesn't mean you can't switch to Catholicism. If your Christian organization isn't meeting your needs, I would suggest that you start looking, until you find one that does.
If you're serious about studying Christianity, I would suggest that you stay away from any Christian organizations. This will protect you from their beliefs, especially if they're wrong. After you've studied for a while, you will be able to make a good choice, hopefully.
The good thing about Christianity, is that if you do choose poorly, you can continue to study and choose again.
